Attention!
The Tel Aviv Gillette Marathon will be held on Friday according to planned, besides the Full Marathon Course (42.2K) which will be postponed one week to 22/03/2014.
Due to the expected heavy wave on Friday and in accordance to the instructions of the Ministry of Health decided to move the course kick-off times earlier.
You can find the updated kick-off times on the website under the Info tab.
The Full Marathon, 42.2K, will be postponed one week to 22/03/2014 and will take place in Hayarkon Park.
The new Full Marathon Course details will be posted soon.
Marathon runners who do not want to compete next week will be able to get a full refund. Alternatively, they can run one of the shorter courses that will take place this Friday and receive a refund of the price difference.
The full refund for those who do not participate in any of the courses or the partial credit of 100 NIS for those who choose to participate in one of the shorter courses this week, will be sent to your home by check to the address you entered during registration. There is no need to call the Marathon Headquarters to cancel, re-register, or change courses.
Those who decide to run the marathon next week or one of the other courses this week do not need to replace their bib number or timing chip - the timing chips are synchronized according to the course you have chosen. |

| To jednak była "fala gorąca" - półmaraton odbył się przy 32 stopniach Celsjusza. Jedna 30-latek zmarł, a 10 trafiło do szpitala. Byłem w Tel Avivie pod koniec lutego i na pocz. marca, przed maratonem w Jerozolimie i zraz po. Bylo wtedy cieplo, ale bez upałów. Bannery maratonu (start i meta) widać bylo na ulicy przy morzu. Planowałem uczestnictwo w 2014, ale mi sie odechcialo (maraton ma być 4 kwietnia 2014, wtedy dopiero moga byc upaly). |
